AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST THROUGH BLOCK SEVENTY-ONE (71) IN THE CITY OF RICH HILL, MISSOURI.
Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Rich Hill, Missouri, as follows:
Section one (1):
WHEREAS, Albert Carmichael, Trustee and Presiding Bishop of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saint has presented to the Board of Aldermen of the said city of Rich Hill, Missouri a petition representing and showing that he, as trustee of said Church holds title in trust for said Church to the following described premises, situate, lying and being in the County of Bates and State of Missouri, to-wit: All of lots one (1) to twelve (12) inclusive in block seventy one (71) in the town-now city-of Rich Hill; and that he further prays in said petition that the alley running east and west through the center of said block be vacated; and
WHEREAS, THE board of Aldermen of said City of Rich Hill, after having duly considered said petition, finds that the facts set forth in said petition as to the ownership of the said above described premises, are true and that the said Albert Carmichael as trustee aforesaid holds title to all the lots situate in said block seven-one (71) and that no one else has any interest therein: Now, before the premises being duly considered by the said board of Aldermen that said alley so extending east and west through the said block seventy one (71) of the said city of Rich Hill be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section two (2):
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
